deactivateSeason
mutation · in the family Season
What it does
Deactivate a season — a time-bounded product grouping — it stops being usable but keeps its history and can be reactivated.
Deactivate a Season by id; requires the unrestricted capability + the record's CURRENT revision. Deny-by-default + the referential_integrity / authority / occ guards. The optional reason rides the transition events.
Who may call it
Capability area: Catalog editing — Changing what you sell — the details of styles, products, variants and their identifiers.

Arguments
| Name | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
id | ID ID! | yes | The id of the record. |
revision | ID ID! | yes | The revision id you read on the record; the change is refused if an edit landed in the meantime. |
reason | String | no | No further notes. |
Returns
Season Season! — A season — a merchandising-calendar building block; an INSTANCE, not a recurring pattern. Master data ONLY: the merchandising lifecycle (planning → buying → selling → clearance) belongs to future process constructs that reference it — the optional selling window is reporting data, never an FSM trigger. Per-org enablement (OrgSeason) arrives; Product↔Season references at the spine.
