warrantyTerms

query · in the family Warranty terms

What it does

Look up one record — warranty terms — what coverage a product carries.

A WarrantyTerms by id, within the caller's OWN org-group family; requires authentication. A cross-tenant id reads as null (not-found) AND trips the rootId tripwire server-side.

What happens

Reads only — changes nothing.

Who may call it

Capability area: Reading your records — Looking up and listing the records of your organization.

Arguments

NameTypeRequiredNotes
idID ID!yesThe id of the record.

Returns

WarrantyTerms — Warranty terms — the WARRANTY POLICY TEMPLATE: provider + duration + coverage, attached to EXACTLY ONE of a Product or a Manufacturer (the manufacturer-attached row IS the reusable template). Group-scoped like a Brand (parent = the org group). The ATTACHMENT is the template's IDENTITY — IMMUTABLE at birth (re-attach = recreate); the POLICY payload stays mutable (the future warranty INSTANCE snapshots terms at sale, so a template edit never rewrites issued warranties). The warranty INSTANCE construct is NOT here.
