Org customer
The OrgCustomer family — 7 operations.
A customer account is one corporate customer enabled at one of your organizations — the selling relationship itself, and the house account behind it. It carries the terms you agree: an account number, canned payment terms (net-30 and 2-10-net-30 allow charging to the house account; cod and prepaid do not), a credit limit and an order minimum in the organization’s currency, the customer price group and the price list the account buys under, and the bill-to and ship-to contacts. One live account per organization and customer, both fixed at birth. Charges on account post to its ledger and the balance shown here moves with every entry; record payments and write off bad debt from the record, and open House account for the aging buckets and the entries behind the balance. Deactivating pauses selling on terms; an account holding live tax exemption certificates cannot be retired.
