Gift registry
The GiftRegistry family — 6 operations.
A gift registry is one shopper’s list of wanted items with purchases tracked against it — a wedding, baby, birthday, anniversary or holiday registry, a wishlist, or a custom one. It belongs to a registered shopper, fixed at birth; it carries a privacy setting (public, unlisted by link, or private — private unless you say otherwise), an optional event date, and a ship-to address that stands in for the owner’s own. Create it here and keep it current; add, change and remove items (up to 200 live ones) and record purchases from the record, and open Items & purchases for every item with what has been bought and what remains. An open registry closes when the owner or you close it, or on its own at the event date; purchases still record against a closed or expired registry, and either can then be retired — an open one cannot.
