# CsCaseTransitionOp

enum

The transitionCsCase op vocabulary.

## Values

| Value | Notes |
| --- | --- |
| `start` | open → in_progress (authority:cs — begin working the case). |
| `await_customer` | in_progress → pending_customer (waiting on the customer; a consumer reply AUTO-RESUMES — the addMyCaseMessage engine fires resume in the same commit). |
| `resume` | pending_customer → in_progress (the customer responded / staff resumes). |
| `escalate` | in_progress → escalated (a higher support tier takes it). |
| `de_escalate` | escalated → in_progress (back to the working lane). |
| `resolve` | in_progress → resolved — ⚠ REQUIRES the resolution block PRESENT on the case. |
| `reopen_unresolved` | resolved → in_progress (the proposed resolution did not stick — BEFORE close; after close, reopen = a NEW linked case). |
| `close` | resolved → closed (authority:cs; terminal ▣ immutable — legitimate history, stays listed; reopen = a NEW case via linkedFromCaseId). The resolved→closed row also carries the DORMANT system:auto_close twin. |
| `cancel` | open\|in_progress → cancelled (authority:cs; terminal ✦ doomed — spam/duplicate/withdrawn; drops from listings; NOT reopenable-by-link — ruling). |
