# Webhook subscription

The `WebhookSubscription` family — 6 operations.

A webhook subscription pushes your events to an outside system as they happen — pick the event names, give an https endpoint, and every delivery arrives signed with the subscription’s secret. Twenty consecutive delivery failures auto-suspend it; fix the endpoint, then reactivate.

## Operations

| Operation | Kind | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [deactivateWebhookSubscription](/reference/webhook-subscription/deactivateWebhookSubscription/) | mutation | Deactivate a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen — it stops being usable but keeps its history and can be reactivated. |
| [doomWebhookSubscription](/reference/webhook-subscription/doomWebhookSubscription/) | mutation | Permanently retire a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen. |
| [reactivateWebhookSubscription](/reference/webhook-subscription/reactivateWebhookSubscription/) | mutation | Reactivate a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen — bring a deactivated record back into use. |
| [updateWebhookSubscription](/reference/webhook-subscription/updateWebhookSubscription/) | mutation | Edit a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen — change its details. |
| [webhookSubscription](/reference/webhook-subscription/webhookSubscription/) | query | Look up one record — a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen. |
| [webhookSubscriptions](/reference/webhook-subscription/webhookSubscriptions/) | query | The webhook subscription list — each entry is a webhook subscription — your endpoint, signed and POSTed when the events you picked happen. |
