# Size run

The `SizeRun` family — 7 operations.

A size run is a ratio over one option dimension — S-M-L-XL as 1-2-2-1 — that a buyer fills a purchase matrix with: kept once and reused by every style that names it, or as the dimension’s own default. Edit the run, never the order.

## Operations

| Operation | Kind | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [createSizeRun](/reference/size-run/createSizeRun/) | mutation | Create a new size run — the ratio a buyer spreads a quantity over one option dimension (S-M-L-XL 1-2-2-1), kept once and reused by every style that names it at your organization. |
| [deactivateSizeRun](/reference/size-run/deactivateSizeRun/) | mutation | Deactivate a size run — the ratio a buyer spreads a quantity over one option dimension (S-M-L-XL 1-2-2-1), kept once and reused by every style that names it — it stops being usable but keeps its history and can be reactivated. |
| [doomSizeRun](/reference/size-run/doomSizeRun/) | mutation | Permanently retire a size run — the ratio a buyer spreads a quantity over one option dimension (S-M-L-XL 1-2-2-1), kept once and reused by every style that names it. |
