# Markdown plan

The `MarkdownPlan` family — 4 operations.

A markdown plan is a scheduled cadence of price cuts for a product scope — up to eight dated steps, each a percent off, an amount off or a move to a fixed price, in one currency, for the organizations and locations you name. Author it as a draft, then schedule it: every future sale price is written up front and the cuts take effect on their dates on their own; the plan reads scheduled, then active, then completed. A draft edits freely; once scheduled, cancel and author anew — cancelling drops the cuts that have not yet taken effect and keeps the ones that have.
