# Dashboard

The `Dashboard` family — 7 operations.

A dashboard is a saved glance — an ordered layout of canned metric tiles (sales today, open orders, inventory value…). The record stores the layout only; its Metrics view computes the figures live at read time, each tile stamped with when it was read, and a figure that cannot be answered honestly says so in plain words instead of guessing.
